It's been a while since I have made any updates to the site, so here is whats been going on: Blair shoots for his high school rifle team. He has qualified for states both freshman and sophomore years, finishing 49th as a freshman and 45th this year as a sophomore in Pennsylvania. If it weren't for a mental error this year, his ranking would have been much higher. He also shoots in a summer league on Tuesday nights. **************************************************************************************************************************************** John played about 50 baseball games since spring. For his High School team, he made the move to 3rd base this year. He had a solid year in the field but struggled early at the plate. By the end of the year, his swing was back on track and managed 2 home runs and several key hits. Summer ball was for Patton American Legion. He saw some time behind the plate, at 3rd, at 1st but primarily was a DH. He had the 4th highest batting average on his team and the highest OBP. At left, he steps into the box against a tough Brookville pitcher. John is 6'1" and still going. He is looking forward to his senior year and thinking about those college visits. Both boys have summer jobs and are doing very well. **************************************************************************************************************************************** Hounds have finally been all moved to the kennel building. It was an ordeal that lasted since last November but glad it is complete. **************************************************************************************************************************************** Pups have come and gone. The time sure does fly by. At right are the Koster's from NY. This is their 4th hound from Mike / Me and Cheyenne's grandfather got hounds from Willet. I will have more about them in a future post. John Neidigh and his beautiful granddaughter with their male pup. They traveled 8 1/2 hrs each way to pick him up. John owned Buster Ray Patch, the littermate to Cymbrian Bonnie Patch and Ambe Patch. Buster did quite well in the ARHA trials. More on John and his hounds also to come. **************************************************************************************************************************************** I will try to get more info on here in the coming months. Hototo & Komaka are up in the Adirondacks, Zaya is in Malibu living on the Pacific Coast Highway (lucky dog). I added Cymbrian Duffy Patch's picture to the male page. Still to come will be more on Duffy and his story as well as updates on my keepers from this summer's litters.
