Frank Murone (1932-2012)

Received my February issue of Better Beagling, included is a memoriam to Frank Murone written by Art White.  Just a few months prior was a tribute to Mr Murone.

Personally I never spoke with Mr Murone but I do know that Mike was a friend of his.  My earlier blog post about Frank's Jubal noted the contribution that fine hound had on the Patch line.  More recently, Frank's Jubalee, dam of Pella Patch & my Patch Cymbrian Hank, has had an influence on my current hounds.  Mike said Pella "was a good one" and my Hank has been a valuable member of my pack for the last 10 years.

It is sad to hear of another great houndsman passing.
